St. John The Baptist Peabody, Massachusetts St. John the Baptist is located in the center of Peabody in an urban context near the city hall. It contains four buildings; the church, rectory, parish center and elementary school. Our firm developed a master plan that included plans for an addition to the church for accessibility, a new pedestrian plaza, site and parking renovations, a new cafeteria and classroom addition to the school, and a new parish center. The first phase of the renovations will be a new pedestrian plaza created between the church and rectory. It will provide a gathering space for outside church events and a setting for the new elevator addition to the church.
