Verizon Office Building Restoration Lynn, Massachusetts This building is situated at the corner of South Commons Street in Lynn, part of the city's Historic District. It was originally constructed in three stages; the main five-story building and tower were built in 1931, and two additions were added in 1960 and 1980. The exterior of the building will be completely reclad with a cast stone curtain wall system. The existing stone detailing will be replicated in cast stone. New insulated windows will replace the existing steel windows. A new roofing system and mechanical and electrical renovations are also planned.
