St. Paul's Church Wellesley, Massachusetts St. Paul's Church was designed in 1915 by Joseph McGinnis, an early partner of John M. Gray. In 1999 Gray Architects was commissioned to develop design studies for an addition and renovation. The building was designed in a Romanesque style, with a brick, limestone and slate roof. Two additions were added to increase seating. The original details of the interior and the exterior were replicated, and all of the stained glass windows in the nave were replaced with exact matches of the original windows, designed in 1915. A new lighting system and chandeliers were provided, and the church was equipped with a new air conditioning and ventilation system.
