St. Mary Education Center
1992- 1994  Dedham, Massachusetts

Saint Mary’s Education Center provides all of the meeting and educational spaces for this urban parish. For several years the former convent had been vacant and under utilized. Following a feasibility study that assessed the building’s condition and adaptability, a proposed renovation plan was developed. The plan illustrated how the three story brick building could be modified to provide classrooms, meeting spaces, a lunch room recreation room, kitchen, chapel and administrative offices. All building systems were renovated, a new elevator was installed, and the building was restored to comply with current building codes
