Our Lady of Assumption
1980- 1982  Green Harbor, Massachusetts

Our Lady of the Assumption is a new church and assembly hall located in a residential coastal neighborhood on a one and one-half acre site. Its design recalls the regional architecture of white cedar shingles and white trim. From afar, the illuminated church steeple is a beacon for those seeking the church at night. The interior is simple, with white walls and a wood timber ceiling. The main nave opens to a chapel allowing the option of additional seating during the Sunday service, or smaller services in the chapel during the week. A hall with a kitchen and meeting rooms is located on the lower level.
